S.I.: Anna, could you please tell us about your creative plans?

A.M.: I strive to continue my solo career and consistently release new music. The next release is on May 2nd, titled "My Body". My upcoming performance will be on May 9th in Chekhov. I travel a lot for concerts, mostly for private events and occasions. Sometimes it turns into a full-fledged tour. You can keep track of all my current performances on my social media.

S.I.: One of your most popular hits is "Luna-Luna." Could you share the story behind its success?

A.M.: It's a cover of the legendary song by Sofia Rotaru. I used to sing it at concerts simply because I’ve always loved that piece. Then I posted a short video of me performing it on social media, and it gathered half a million views in just a couple of days. People started making their own videos to my cover, and I realized I needed to release it officially. Within a few months, the track had over 5 million streams, made it onto a Lithuanian radio station, then into the Baltic Top 20, where it soon reached number one. It has now been in the top 10 for 19 weeks, and recently it was added to the rotation of over 70 regional radio stations in Russia. I share this success with Ayur Tsirenov (he did the arrangement). Without his work, the success of Luna would not have happened!

S.I.: Which song from your repertoire is the most meaningful to you?

A.M.: Every song is important to me. After leaving the group Michelle, I approach my song selection very consciously. I only sing what resonates with me. For example, the song "Louder Music" is based on my personal story.

S.I.: Anna, do you have any dreams that are unrelated to music?

A.M.: Yes, honestly, I would love to try acting in films. Fans often tell me that cinema has lost a great actress. I believe I have some acting potential.

S.I.: What role in a movie would you be interested in playing?

A.E.: I would really like to portray Alyosha Karamazov ("The Brothers Karamazov") and Prince Myshkin ("The Idiot") by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky.

S.I.: What project are you currently working on?

A.E.: Right now, we are working on a large-scale and very significant creative project for me. I can't reveal all the details just yet, but I promise it will be very interesting, and you'll find out everything very soon.
